Correct, I new the middle of the KNP would give it away, over to you John.

A great place to visit, love it in that area.

BTW when I google images for Valentines Falls the exact image came up, I had posted it some time ago on BPL.

For some reason I wasn't able to find any matching images for my guess, but have since found your post on BPL Tony. I knew of the falls and a rough location so checked it with the online topo map software provided by NSW Lands Dept. I've been part way up the Munyang/White River corridor and along Disappointment Spur so the landscape in the photo looked somewhat familiar.

Another one from NSW (I'm running short of photos - need to load my USB drive with more variety):

Yes, that's the one mountnman. We were just poking around the area near Boyds Tower and a few other spots around Twofold Bay rather than doing the Light to Light walk (which I'd like to do one day). Your turn...

That's Bendeela Pondage but I'm not sure where you are. Obviously up high. I was going to say Mt Carrialoo but I don't think I've seen that view from up there. Maybe further east.

That is Bendeela Pondage, and not from Mt Carrialoo. Yes, further east.

Mt Carrialoo from the same point.

Is it from the lookout off McPhail's Fire Trail at approx. 506m ASL, north of Bendeela near the Kangaroo Pipeline? I recall several lookout points on that walk.

Re: Game: Where-is-it (Aussie)

Yes. The unofficial name is "pipeline lookout". Your turn.

Thanks mountman. It's quite a few years since we walked all of McPhail's as a circuit. I recall negotiating an old overgrown section no longer marked on the map. From memory you eventually emerge from it near that lookout.

I'll pass this time. Anyone can post the next one...

Been there but a while ago, good old Google images helped refresh my memory, found a photo that was nearly the same.

This one is a "where am I" I am in NSW.

either- about a 12 minute flight from Mackay in a little 5-8 seater or a 40 minute? boat trip also from Mackay. Absolutely beautiful island- the resort is currently closed for refurbishments- hope they don't spoil it & make it too many $$$$. I have also camped on the island across the channel- Carlisle- was about $4.50 a night- bargain!

I don't know the mountains in NSW very well so have just had a quick look on Google.
Now it looks like the trig on Thredbo but then I guess they are a standard design.
So, my one and only guess is - Thredbo.

Hi Graham,

It is not Thredbo, you are right that the trig is a standard design and is on a few mountains in the area.

A clue is the snow covered hills in the distance, the one on the right has been on this game before but from the other side.

It is not Gungartan trig, the mountain that I am standing on is much further north.

Hint the AAWT goes around it on its northern and eastern side.

I am off to bed.

Hi Eggs,

Yes a bit wild but a good try, Mt Gingera is much further north in the ACT, on a clear I think it is possible to see My Jagungal from Mt Gingera, Gingera can be done as a very pleasant day walk, I actually can see Mt Gingera from my work place near the Canberra city.

Hi John,

I thought you might know this one, yes it is table Top Mountain, your turn now.

Table Top Mountain is an easy cross country ski day trip from Kiandra or Selwyn ski resort and is a favourite of mine, on a clear day the views from Table Top are stunning.
