Yep, ILUVSWTAS has it...take from the shores of Lake Malana looking up at Bonds Craig.
I dropped down a track after summiting Bonds Craig to explore these lakes a little as I had time to kill;
it would make very nice camping away from the crowds & excrement of Lake Rhona...

You could have nominated someone to proxy - but I see you were after Mt Blackwood.

I have a photo from the Poatina Road - but it does not look like that. Where was it from?

Ah cool, I was actually thinking about walking up mt blackwook just last week! went up quamby bluff instead, but there you go..

Yeh I considered asking someone to proxy, but oh well thought i'd pass it on!
It was taken from near the road we walked to get to Cathcart Bluff. Zoomed in on one of the peaks!

Not sure if this will help much due to the weather and age - but this is the view to the South east (ie opposite direction)

This peak shares its name with a nearby town :wink:

Are you honeymooning in Zeehan in 1964?

My new guess is Mt Zeehan, if so, is that the new road to Strahan in the second pic?
