Ok I have no idea but just to keep the game rolling and procrastinate from work I'll take a guess.

Tue 20 Oct, 2009 11:19 am
Nope, not the Arthurs Amanda (that'll either confuse you or send you to the range that I'm on here)...

Tue 20 Oct, 2009 11:38 am
If its Denisons where you down next to Lake Murray looking up at Bonds Craig?
Tue 20 Oct, 2009 11:41 am
Yep, ILUVSWTAS has it...take from the shores of Lake Malana looking up at Bonds Craig.
I dropped down a track after summiting Bonds Craig to explore these lakes a little as I had time to kill;
it would make very nice camping away from the crowds & excrement of Lake Rhona...
over to you mate...
Tue 20 Oct, 2009 11:46 am
Wow looks nice! Is it easy to get to down there??
Murray was my second guess Eggs

And South of Poatina road but still on the Western Tiers....
Pity I have to give it away like that, would have liked to see how long it could have run for.....
Wed 21 Oct, 2009 7:54 pm
Its a mountain and its named after the colour BLACK.
and also the fabric, WOOD
Wed 21 Oct, 2009 9:06 pm
You could have nominated someone to proxy - but I see you were after Mt Blackwood.
I have a photo from the Poatina Road - but it does not look like that. Where was it from?
Wed 21 Oct, 2009 9:27 pm
Ah cool, I was actually thinking about walking up mt blackwook just last week! went up quamby bluff instead, but there you go..
I would never have guessed though.
Wed 21 Oct, 2009 10:28 pm
Since ILUVSWTAS has gone bush - I had better put up a new one

Yeh I considered asking someone to proxy, but oh well thought i'd pass it on!
It was taken from near the road we walked to get to Cathcart Bluff. Zoomed in on one of the peaks!
See you guys next week!!

Its probably going to be a little slow - but as a hint - this is looking North West & was a half day walk
Thu 22 Oct, 2009 9:45 pm
Would it help if I noted this was in the West Coast area & the beach at the rear is a rather long one?
Thu 22 Oct, 2009 10:19 pm
Mt Agnew? (Can I see Mt Heemskirk?)
Fri 23 Oct, 2009 12:52 am
I'll have a go as I was in that area in August. It doesn't look exactly right but are you on Mt Donaldson?
Fri 23 Oct, 2009 8:42 am
No to both.
Agnew is close but further north from where I was.
PS - this was a honeymoon snap
Sun 25 Oct, 2009 3:55 pm
Not sure if this will help much due to the weather and age - but this is the view to the South east (ie opposite direction)
This peak shares its name with a nearby town

Are you honeymooning in Zeehan in 1964?
My new guess is Mt Zeehan, if so, is that the new road to Strahan in the second pic?
