Looks like the Gordon River where you cross it to go into Lake Rhona. Of course, I could be completely wrong!
By the way norts, that is a beautiful photo of Lake Judd.
Mon 22 Feb, 2010 9:07 pm
Actually, looking closer it also looks a bit like Lake Chisholm.
Tue 23 Feb, 2010 8:47 am

I really need to find some old photos and scan them for this game, I find it hard to find ones I haven't posted on the forum already.

Tue 23 Feb, 2010 11:55 pm
And I really thought that you two might control yourselves and not say anything... Bit of a problem when no-one else is guessing though!
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 4:34 am

Welcome frenchy! That's Fedder in the background, so possibly from somewhere SW-ish like Anne or Lot. If so, is that Mt Weld in the mid-ground among the cunning mask of clouds?
cheers
Peter
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 8:30 am
no, sorry. try again
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 9:37 am
I'm thinking it's from the other side of Fedders from the Southern Ranges somewhere, maybe Moonlight Ridge?
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 9:42 am
Do you mean to say you can see Federation from the top of Pindars Peak?
Oh well - I guess the coastline might have been hard to see when you took this one.
Close in you have Wylly & Mt Victoria-Cross, and behind is Federation, Anne and Picton
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 3:04 pm
well done, eggs has it
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 3:21 pm
We only saw the inside of cloud from Pindars, though the walk up had some great views.
This one will be a bit tougher.
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 3:28 pm
that one has me stumped. Is it fury gorge?
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 3:53 pm
No - it is a gorge, but a long, long way from Fury.
It is a relatively short but very nice walk.
PS - there is something rather 'royal' about this view.
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 5:49 pm
Alum Cliffs above the Mersey River?
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 6:04 pm
No - this is a lot further east
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 7:36 pm
Think it might be Cash's Gorge looking towards Mt Saddleback or perhaps Mt Victoria! On the Ralph Falls circuit.
Gerry
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 7:48 pm
Gerry - yes - its Cash's Gorge, so your turn.
You can make out the lookout platform further up on the right.
But the mountain is Mt Albert.
Mt Victoria was not visible behind the ridgeline, but is even closer.
Wed 24 Feb, 2010 8:06 pm
Thanks Eggs. Forgot about Mt Albert.
Easy one for those who have been there.
