Not the Franklin River.
This river is in the northern half of the state.

Leven River looks a lot like that, near where Tor Creek joins it.

But then so do many others, so it's a shot in the dark.

This river also drains into the Bass Strait

This is a tough one. It reminds me of the Upper Liffey but that doesn't drain directly into Bass Straight.

This shot was taken approximately 2km upstream of Reg Wadley's Memorial Hut.
We hit this delightful spot on our descent of Cathedral Mountain.
