Yadboro / Long Gully road for The Castle hike

Wondering if anyone has driven the road to Long Gully campground recently and could advise its condition ? Hoping to camp there next weekend but only have a 2wd car. Drizzle is forecast for a few days this week and wondering how much impact this will have. Thanks.

Haven't been there for a few months, but in general it's ok for 2wd. Some potholes and corrugations and sometimes gets a bit rougher beyond yadboro but if that's the case it generally gets listed as closed. It can be slippery when wet, esp for a 2wd, but light drizzle is OK and we haven't had any rain so far this week anyway (and the forecast is for only a little at most).
