Good overnight hikes in the blue mountains

Hey guys, I hiked a lot in high school and I've been wanting to continue that now I've graduated.

I want to take my girlfriend along but she's relatively inexperienced. Does anyone have any good/easy overnight trails that are well marked and generally interesting? I was thinking about doing the mt solitary traverse starting from the hospital and ending at the golden stairs but I feel like the climb up the mountain might be a little difficult. Anyone have any other ideas/recent information on the aforementioned trail?

Thanks

Hi Lith. All the overnight walks in the Blue Mountains will involve a lot of climbing, however if you do the Mt Solitary traverse from Golden Stairs to the hospital you will be going down the mountain on the walking track and up the other side of the valley on a fire trail to the hospital, which may make it easier for your girlfiend. The only climb would be up the knife edge on the western side of Mount Solitary. Otherwise the walk from Victoria Falls to Blackheath via blue Gum Forest may be a good alternative.

Another easy one would be Narrowneck. Camping at the end of the fire trail and returning the same way. Firetrail all the way with some nice views both sides.

What about Blue Gum Forest? Steep climbs but the tracks are fairly well marked
