Seeking advice:
This Saturday April 8,
Plan is to climb Mt Gudgenby from Yankee Hat Carpark as a day-trip.

Weather forecast on Friday Apr 7 is 5-10 mm of rain.

I recall the drive near Yankee Hat Carpark involves a creek crossing.
Will the water level be too high on Saturday for the car to cross it ?

Shouldn’t be a problem. They drain well. Both crossings have a good base. One concrete and one stone.

It only adds a few kms to a walk if you have to park short.

I climbed Yankee Hat on Sat Apr 8.
The gate was shut on the dirt road to Yankee Hat carpark. Probably because the water level was too high for the creek crossing by car. So we parked the car by the gate and walked ... about an extra half-hour one-way, no big deal :D

Very good. How was Yankee Hat? Did you go via Middle Creek? Any trip report?

Great you were still able to get out there then. So you didn't end up climbing Mt Gudgenby? That is a long walk as it is. Another hour on top would make it a long day.
