This question has come up before and I have met walkers who have arranged transport of sorts, usually with small operators/tour guides but recently I tried to find someone over the net with no luck. I was told it was not cheap though.

http://www.visitcooma.com.auThis winter depending on my recovery I am hoping to do a snow shoe trip in the opposite direction, Guthega via the main range to Mt Kosciuszko, then down to Thredbo and somehow back to car, possibly get a lift to the ski tube to Blue Cow then chair lifts or snow shoe to Guthega.
