Pearces Hut

Does anyone know specifically where Pearces Hut was?

KHA says, "Previously located a couple of hundred meters off the Khancoban/Cabramurra Road about two kilometres short of Tooma Dam." - https://khuts.org/index.php/huts/kosciu ... ut-removed

However, this is very different to where "Pearces Hut Trail" is marked on the map, 25 (ish) km down the Tooma River from the Dam.

Edit: Pearces Creek feeding into the SW of Tooma Dam looks a likely location.

The KHA site has a photo with Jagungal in the distance. That doesn't sound like Tooma Dam area?

I'll take that back. SMA 1":mile Tooma map (first edition, 1961) has it at about here: https://maps.ozultimate.com/?id=1740263365326

(It also has a ski tow going up Round Mt! Didn't know about that)
