Next deer control on Bogong High Plains 17-19 Dec 2015

This is copy of the email I have received - for information only should you be in the area and hear shots or come across hunters.

This message is to inform you that, excepting unforeseen circumstances, the next Deer Control Trial operation will take place Thursday 17 through to Saturday 19 December 2015. The focus for this control operation will be spotlighting on the nights of Thursday 17 and Friday 18 December.
Attached for information you will find the map identifying the Control Operation Area for the trial.
As previously, ADA and SSAA members will hunt deer strictly in accordance with a detailed Operations Plan and under the direction of a Parks Victoria Operations Controller. All personnel involved in the control operation will be readily identifiable and will act in accordance with legislative requirements and strict protocols to ensure the safe use of firearms.

Again the park will not be closed and there will be no access restrictions for visitors; however signs will be placed on major access points to advise that an operation is being undertaken. Outside of Parks Victoria managed control operations, hunting will remain prohibited on the Bogong High Plains.

I have tried to attach the map without success but generally the area is east of Marrum point, the aqueduct, Kelly's and Fitz huts, Wildhorse creek area, Kelly track and track 107. Further information from Parks Mt. Beauty.
