I'm knocking off both Feathertop and Bogong from the 23rd to the 26th in two separate trips. Thinking of walking up Eskdale this time, but have never checked out the water situation there.
Has anyone been up Eskdale recently who can comment on water availability at Mitchells Hut?

This isn't recent but seeing that nobody else has replied; I haven't been to the Michell Hut in about eight years but the hut (from memory) is very much in the Fed Hut style, with tank. I'm obviously not sure if there's water today but I'd imagine you'll be okay.

I was at Bogong last weekend, and given the amount of rainfall it's hard to imagine there won't be plenty of water.

Great, thanks for the info guys. I vaguely remember a tank there at the old hut, however with the new hut there since my last visit, I'd hate to get up there to find that there's no water, or even worse, the water was tarnished.

No worries, Ryan. At least you've established tank + water! I'd filter nonetheless though.

Turns out it will be raining whilst I am there too, so water should definitely not be an issue
