Pikes Flat to Bindaree Hut?

Hi,
Has anyone walked along/in the Howqua from Pikes Flat to Bindaree Hut? If so what's it like and how long did it take? Also anyone know anything about the scrub between Square Head Jinny and Pikes Flat?

Walked from Square Head Jinny down to Pikes Flat about 3 years ago, the scrub wasn't an issue unless you drifted into a creek. To avoid the creeks you need to be aware of your navigation, as there isn't much of a spur to follow from memory.

Can't help you about Bindaree to Pikes via the river, I've only done it on the vehicle track.

Thanks Craig. I think I saw an earlier post about that trip. The vehicle track looks like a bit of a slog.
