Does anybody else on here every visit the Winton Wetlands? The wetlands are one of my favourite place, I absolutely love it over there and spend a lot of time there.
At the moment the wetlands have come to life with the return of decent inflows and water levels.
My wife and I spotted a beautiful pair of brolgas there last week, which were the first brolgas spotted in the wetlands since 2013 and can be seen in this video.
This video was shot on the "Spit" walking track, which is my personal favourite park of the park. The spit track is a 9km walk (4.5km each way)
There are longer walks in the park, particularly down around the wall end. They are on locked vehicle (MVO) tracks but are still great to explore.
If you love nature, do yourself a favour and go for a walk along the spit walking track at the Winton Wetlands, or just visit the wetlands in your car. It's an amazing place!

And here are a few pics from the park over the last week.

Think I might have to as well, I'm guessing it doesn't look like this often

Took the kids for a quick look, a highlight was one stretch of road that we saw a few turtles crossing when we drove up and back and moved them off the road each time

Thats awesome hairypanic. I bet the kids loved it! Did they see a few kangaroos? The frogs are almost deafening out there at the moment!
