Hi All,
I am wanting to get into some regular bush walking and would like to join a group to explore some more remote places. I am in my later 30s and would prefer to walk with people of a similar age. Does anyone know of any groups around the Geelong area?
Cheers,
Briony

Welcome to the forum Briony. There is a local bushwalking club in Geelong
http://www.geelongbushwalking.asn.au/ I do not know their demographics. Have you tried meetup groups for Western Victoria. Meetup groups often have a younger or more mixed age group. Tracks and Trails is Western Vic based.

Hi Briony,
I too am based in Geelong but have been wary of Geelong Bushwalking Club for the demographic reason also and also due to the fact they haven't updated their website since the 1950's

.
There is a local meetup group based in Geelong called Surfcoast walkers and adventurers and they look like they do good stuff and are fairly active by the looks .
