The inaugural Oscars100 Hut2Hut 100km adventure UltraMarathon/hike on the 17-19th Feb. 2017 taking in some of Victoria's finest Alpine areas surrounding the Howqua/King River Valleys. Whilst I definitely understand it won't be most peoples 'cup of tea' - the entry price will put a lot of people off for sure - it is expensive and many will definitely think twice before entering. Why $enter$ when you can just power hike the course yourself right? Anyways just putting it out there - someone here may be interested.

Teams of 2 (Solo ultra runners by invitation only)
Race commences at 5:00am (Sunrise 6:52am) at Mt.Buller Village

CutOff times:
LovicksHut: CutOff 3pm arrival (10hours/37.5km) must depart by 4:00pm
VGanter Hut: CutOff 4:30pm (11.5hours/50km)- otherwise mandatory overnight stay.
KValleyHut: CutOff 6:00pm (13hours/71.5km) - otherwise mandatory overnight stay.

Money raised goes to Mansfield Autism and Irabina childhood Autism Services.

BTW I have no involvement with the race management, organisation or promotion - I am merely an entrant.

I feel fatigued just reading the places that these people will run non stop . I would take a week to walk that with a full pack and camp over night en route.

I have some family members planning to do the 2018 hut to hut.

Im in, chosen for the run option as hope to beat the cut off times. Would nice to be finished in under 20 hours but who knows. Really looking forward to the cross cut saw section as have always wanted to see it. The cool T shirt looks great
