Water at JB HUT ?

Hi
Is the water tank still there at JB HUT ( Near Dinner Plain village). If not then is there a stream nearby?

There is no water at JB Hut. The tank is kaput and there are no streams flowing nearby. There is a public drinking water tap at Dinner Plain resort and a spring flows out of a spout on the road side just a little way past Mother Johnson's Plain just before Brandy Creek picnic area on the Mt. Hotham bound side. I was up there very recently.
