Lake Eildon - Delatite arm walking

Postby Casparvitch » Tue 26 Mar, 2024 12:56 pm

Hi all,

Has anyone walked anywhere (overnight) on the Delatite arm (~Goughs bay, or Enterprise Block) of Lake Eildon NP?

Looks like there's a reasonable length track (4WD) from Goughs bay up the Alans peak tk, then Stillmans tk over Mt Enterprise and into Coopers pt campground (22km, 1.2km +-).
Probably a somewhat boring slog at times, but always nice to try something new.
The north part of the arm could be used on a return trip to make it a two night walk, though the lake is probably the only water source.

Cheers,
Caspar
