Hi,
a mate has moved to property at Croftby which is about 14kms west of Boonah off the Boonah/Rathdowney Rd. Wondered if anyone had recommendations for day (or multi-day) hikes in that region? I believe the BNT runs through Teviot but I'm sure there are other options locally as well. Cheers.

Pick up a copy of Take a Walk in SEQ or (for more challenging walks) Secrets of the Scenic Rim. You could easily spend a year exploring the rim and still have plenty left to see. Get started with easy rainforest walking at Lamington and Springbrook, then head further west to Mount Barney and Main Range for more rugged and rocky mountain hikes. With Spring on the way in, Mount Barney/Maroon are great options for seeing the wildflowers.

The latest issue of Wild Magazine has a great article on the Scenic Rim Traverse.
