Man Missing on Larapinta Trail

A police search operation is continuing for a Victorian man in his 60s who went missing along the Larapinta Trail in Central Australia.

Alistair Thomson, 63, set off alone on the trail west of Alice Springs on Monday, May 13, and last contacted family via text on Tuesday, May 21.

Is this the ending you are commenting on?

I thought it was pretty obvious that the ending being referred to was the finding of the gentleman dead.

Well it's not good for the person who finds him but i often think that i'd rather die out there than in a hospital bed.
