My friend and I are planning to walk the Larapinta track from red bank gorge to Alice springs from 7 may. Let me know if you are planning to complete the walk and would be interested in sharing the transport costs from Alice to red bank gorge.

When I walked it I hitched out to the end from Alice and only had to walk the last couple of kilometres if I remember correctly. Was an easy hitch. If worried, start hitching early and then you have all day to get to the gorges campground.

Just read that its 2012 your going...maybe a bit late now for this wee bit of advice...
