Thanks to all those involved in building and maintaining the Lake Meston Hut
I really appreciated it last night.
I did not see cairns leading to Mt Rogoona at the grid reference Chapman mentions 354623, but I did see cairns to Mt Rogoona much closer to Lake Myrtle.

My photos are bigger than !Mb, I am not sure how to reduce them to load. I have lovely photos of the hut in snow.

Hmm, I'm sure you could reduce the quality, and therefore the size by re-saving at lower quality in a program such as photoshop or gimp. Other than that, you could also look at signing up for an image hosting site such as imagebucket or flickr. Each of them will have free options which allow you to store a certain number of photos, which you can then embed in a post using BBcode tags. Would be good to see your shots

Also there is an add on for Windows explorer that works very well and is quick
If youy search for Image resizer power toy , you should be able to find it.
Once you have loaded it, then you select an image in explorer you then go to file menu and the option to resize is on the drop down box. You can use it on multiple images at once. Very quick

Nice shots

Looks like there was a reasonable bit of snow about!

yes quite alot of snow, particularly on the shoulder of Mt Rogoona. Route finding took time.
