"Secret" cave down south

Postby Liamy77 » Thu 22 Sep, 2011 11:18 am

Just to let any bored folks know i have converterd a sea cave (2m above high tide mark) into a 2 person, not-so-lightweight shelter with fireplace. it is on the southern cliffs (facing north) of Eggs and Bacon Bay in Tas. about 50m shy of the point... feel free to check it out if your down my way.... just free standing rock so dont lean on the walls too hard.... yeah i got bored over the holidays and was carless with kids too.... so i had to entertain myself near home.... - (might be useful if Amy kicks me out) :D picnic area near by at Randalls Bay for the family....

Photo please... Is this taking your stone-whittling to new levels?
If it's crafted as well as you tie a piece of string together, it must be a masterpiece!

It's not bad at all I must say!! Although gets a bit smokey if the wind is in the wron direction. Also not good if you suffer claustraphobia.
Nothing to see here.

After telling 3000+ people on this forum about your cave maybe its time to drop the "secret" part from the title ;)
