Lake Bill in snow

Last night was spent at Lake Bill.
I planned on getting all the way to Lake Myrtle as an overnighter but the creek that you cross after leaving Lake Bill was flowing hard and considering there was more weather on the way I turned around and made camp at Lake Bill, by that time the snow was really coming down and I was glad of my decision to turn back.
I was keen to test the new One Planet Goondie in the snow and I certainly got the chance to do that! I got about 200mm of snow overnight and by the morning it was a white paradise.
The track to Bill is starting to get very overgrown and will without some trimming this spring or some more human traffic some sections will be hard to find soon. This made coming down in the snow somewhat hard. I was expecting it, but a few times I had to do a bit of trial and error before I could find a sign I was still on the track.
Good fun all up.
Will add a bit to topic in the equipment section on how the tent performed.
