It's been nearly 2 months since i completed the walk to Lake Nameless (23rd January), so it's about time that i posted something.!!

We set off about 7.30am from the carpark, only to nearly have our day ruined 10 minutes in by the sight of the old foot bridge across Dale Brook creek washed away. Luckily the water was low enough allowing us to rock hop & continue our ascent.....
Higgs Track has faired pretty well considering all the rain that the area had suffered.
We arrived on the plateau about 9.30am & made our way to the Hut for a bite of morning tea, & then had a look around Lady Lake before commencing the trek to Lake Nameless. After a stop over at Lake's Lucy Long & Westons, we picked up the track & made our way to Lake Nameless. About 20 Minutes later, Lake Nameless came into view....lovely sight..!! Unfortunately, due to spending more time than aticipated at Lady Lake Hut, time was against us to continue on to Ironstone Hut.
After some running repairs to some of the feet in the group, we retraced out steps back to Lady Lake Hut. After some refeshments...& pictures....we commenced our descent about 4.10pm to the carpark, arriving about 6pm.
Overall...fantastic day & what a great walk..!! Everyone in the group enjoyed it....& a special mention goes to my 13 yo nephew, who completed the trek...what a trooper, never complained once...that i heard anyway....

I have attached some pics for you all, hope you enjoy having a squizz...
Regards,
Thomas.
