Hi There

I have seen the post on the Never Never and wanted to see if anyone has the co ordinates for the crossing of the Mersey River or the Rock Bridge near Ferguson Falls?

Hi Phil, the area around the rock 'bridge' is pretty fragile and has taken a long time to recover from when it was used (more often). Most people now cross higher up, there are a couple of log crossings that im sure people have coordinates for? (though if you follow any of the many braided tracks they will likely take you to one of them) All the Best.

(maybe they're in Bills book? :| )

It's also a lot less slippery than it used to be, as well as a lot less worn and ruined. Therefore please keep any specific replies to this question as private messages only, in accordance with forum rules.

A (kind) private message stalker pointed out that the log crossings may be un-useable after the flooding??
I guess this question will be coming up a lot then.

Might be time for a bridge (at least)...
Anyhow, yer, the chock rock is easy to find...

There is a bit more about it in this topic. http://bushwalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=5801&p=69394

Really if the water level is normal there are a lot of places you could just wade/swim it if you don't mind getting wet.
