I'm hoping to have at least a couple of nights away from the crowds.
I read somewhere re a nice spot to camp in Pinestone Valley. I can't remember if there would be any spots that wouldn't be too visible from the main drag - thinking not good to advertise alternatives in peak season. It'd also give me the best chance of finally getting up Ossa. 1st time had a crook knee, next 5 times too much snow/horizontal sleet/ice etc. Surely this time!
I also wanted to check out Campfire Creek campsite options for a different trip friends are doing involving some of Ducane Range (maybe via Traveller Range).
