Seoraksan National Park, Korea

Postby rangersac » Thu 24 Nov, 2022 11:59 pm

In Korea for work at the moment and have been fortunate to be able to check out Sokcho and Seoraksan National Park. Definitely worth a visit, reminded me of Yosemite with the rock formations and steep climbs up to various peaks. There's easily 2-3 days hiking in the park with multi day options. Accessibility is pretty straight forward, around a three hour bus ride from Seoul and there are local buses to the main park entrance. Will definitely head back for a longer stint in the future.ImageImageImageImageImage

My knees are screaming just at the sight of all those steps, but the terrain looks really good.
