The river crossings were doable and safe at both fords of Big River.
The pit Loo/s Cleve Cole hut need/s to be emptied soon. It is just one long weekend away from being the world's shortest long drop toilet.

The sign pointing to the Staircase spur at the summit of Mt. Bogong is missing.
Don't do this hike when it is hot , please! .

I just noticed this.
Another report from the possibly legendary Mr T!
Excellent work as usual!
Love the photos, but probably not enough of them.
The Duanne Spur-T-Spur section must be a killer.
I haven't been near the Big Fella in a while, might nearly tempt fate and see how painful it'll be one day soonish (not in white season).
Nice effort by your party to complete that hike, must have been fun and missed the madding crowds.

It would appear to be the case:
No childish jokes about knobs you lot.

The trip leader's fine donger has inspired cartographers!.
People should try doing this hike ,using this route
but not in spring when the river crossings will be too deep and iffy with snow melt and heavy rain.
The T spur is tough but the second or third time you do the ascent from Big river ,
it
becomes less traumatic. It certainly helps if the weather is cooler such as in April or early May.
