Nice report.
That's a good idea. I think I'm right on 25k radius to Sugar loaf reservoir.
I've been there a few times, walked over the weir and around the track a bit, but haven't done a full loop.

Use this to check out your 25km radius
https://2kmfromhome.com/Select 25km in the blue bar then drag the centre of it to your address and your kingdom will be revealed.

Took a walk around this today.
Didn't follow the shore line as much as possible, so only walked 13km.
Pretty relaxed walk, with only one hill that got the breathing going.

- Start between Southern lookout Carpark & Saddle dam picnic area.

- Sugarloaf with city in background

- Sugarloaf with city in background

- End (looking toward Treatment plant/Southern lookout carpark

I see you went clockwise, I think. It is a pleasant day walk and not that far from Melbourne.

Anti-clockwise. Started next to treatment plant/Southern lookout carpark, and headed East at the start. I think the photos might be confusing.
Thanks for the tip! I have been hanging out to do Mason's Falls circuit, and it didn't cross my mind to do this circuit.

Don't do the Mason's Falls / Sugar Loaf Kinglake N.P. loop when it is hot. That hill climb up towards the Sugar Loaf car park is fine on a dry cool day but not much fun when it is above 25 C. and sunny.
