Hi Guys,
I did the Macks Creek Loop down at Tarra-Bulga National Park a few weeks ago and have written up a bit of a trip report with lots of photos. This loop is a section of the Grand Strzelecki Track which is a community based track so it doesn't get as much love as some of our more popular tracks get. I did it as a day walk although it came in at almost 28 kilometres so it was a solid day out, some people do it as an overnighter.
The walk down Macks Creek was a beautiful and adventurous walk and I really enjoyed it - although the pad along Macks Creek is pretty rough in spots. The walk back up to the Tarra - Bulga Visitor Centre was a forest walk and it suffered a bit in comparison with the Macks Creek section I thought. It was still pretty nice walking though and I even got some views down towards The Prom in spots.
Anyway here's the link if anyone wants to check it out...

A fun day out BigKev.
I love walking in bush, so I reckon I'd like that walk.
I think I read on your blog that your finger has been giving your grief.
I hope that's on the improve.

Cheers Bang, yes my finger gave me a lot of grief last year. All good now and raring to go - I've got a lot I want to do before my body starts to fail me so there might be a few 'off the radar' type walks that pop up on my blog this year (so long as we don't get locked down again
)
