Below is the trip report for a section of the Great North Walk (Wondabyne to Cowan). In summary It is a sweet easy hike I would recommend to anyone.

Looks like you had a great walk (mind you Im not sure Id cross the rail bridge over the hawksbury

sorry to hear your knees playing up...I can sympathize with that one. One of your pics bought back an amusing memory. Where you crossed the swollen creek I dropped my pack once. The harness soaked up a whole lot of water. Not what you need with 7 days worth of gear and a hill to walk up

Heya Mic,
Thanks for that, indeed getting a hipbelt full of water before that hill would have been pretty terrible. How did you find the rest of the GNW from there?
Also, I was so impressed with your Galaxy SII from that walk that I got one on a plan (that is what I took the photos on) and it is sweet!
