Great report Jeremy. I did this about 2 years ago as one of my first packraft trips and continued down to the junction with the kowmung. We took it easy and paddled over 2 days. Wet exit twice (white water term for falling into river) but had heaps of fun. I'd be keen to do another one. Saw lots of snakes here and learnt on this trip that red bellies could swim! But that was summer, also saw lots of those giant lizards.

Heya Ninja,
I am definitely keen to hit this one up in the coming months! I am also a big for of the wet exit maneuver, maybe even a 'tactical wet exit'.
For now though, I am off to Katherine for a couple of weeks for some hiking and maybe even rafting.
All the best,
Jeremy.
