Below is the trip report for a section of the Great North Walk (Wondabyne to Cowan). In summary It is a sweet easy hike I would recommend to anyone.

Hi Jeremy,

Looks like you had a great walk (mind you Im not sure Id cross the rail bridge over the hawksbury :-) sorry to hear your knees playing up...I can sympathize with that one. One of your pics bought back an amusing memory. Where you crossed the swollen creek I dropped my pack once. The harness soaked up a whole lot of water. Not what you need with 7 days worth of gear and a hill to walk up ;-)
Lovin your new blog too :-)

Heya Mic,

Thanks for that, indeed getting a hipbelt full of water before that hill would have been pretty terrible. How did you find the rest of the GNW from there?

Also, I was so impressed with your Galaxy SII from that walk that I got one on a plan (that is what I took the photos on) and it is sweet!

Cheers,

Jeremy.
