Hi Everyone, Had a chance to do the classic route from Kanangra walls to Narrowneck recently. It was a great trip with Huey on our side the entire way! There was, of course the standard crazy winds and some great chilly temps. Other highlights include meeting the tiger snake just out of Dexs Creek. He was having a sun bake. We asked him if we could have a photo and then chatted about life on the High Gangerang before we pressed on.
Morilla Deck is magical.
I hope I was able to capture some of the fun and spirit. I mention in the description that I left out music so the wind gusts and sounds of the bush can be heard. My highlights of the video are where my hat flys off in the wind at 1.32 (it goes left and I pursue) and the time lapse of setting up the hammock and tarp at 2.04.

Yeah I havent sat down and made a video in a while. I figured something like this trip needed a bit of footage. I have some good videos from Liloing this summer and a heap of other stuff that I have yet to get through. Of course there is days of footage from the last trip to Canada....

Cheers eh, That musta been a heck of a trip! The wind was good. Kinda blowing side on eh . Never a tail wind and never a head wind. ( how good is the tarp going nuts in the winds during the set up.
I call this The Windy Tarp Dance.

k.
Yeah we floated the Coxs for about 350 meters as we slipped off the side of Strongleg into Kanangra Creek. First camp was at Dex's and the second was in one of the saddles at the top of Yellow Pub about 30 minutes to Mt Dingo.
