With the sun shining and an early start, we hit the Coomera Gorge yesterday (15/04/2018) via the not so mysterious 'mystery track' - a steep semi-exposed route that traverses the top of cliffs and waterfalls and drops directly into the gorge from the main trail. Slightly hairy in sections, but not too challenging overall.
This hike was absolutely amazing (probably my favourite so far in Lamington), and we counted approximately 16 different waterfalls on the entire route (with many dropping from the top of the gorge).
Just before starting the return journey, we watched a group of 3 abseil down Coomera Falls.
