I haven't read through all of them, i assume you mean the one turning your smart phone into a teleporter?
Many of them are likely valid, those that don't give any competitive advantage to an existing product. Forum members familiar with the areas (they are listed with state acronyms so easy to find) or with local business partnerships will no doubt have a better understanding of the effect.

Only those flipping grants could explain their reasoning..

Some people and company's are very adept at filling out proposal documents and 'playing the game'. This game consists of attending every function by the funding bodies, pretending to be interested in their blah blah, filling out their forms, smiling politeley, leaving any opinions at the door etc etc etc
I can't do it, I've tried and it's excruciating. I can understand your frustration, particularly given the project grant you will be focussed on...

Looking at two of the sites I am familiar with, Scenic World at Katoomba and the Australian Reptile Park at Somersby, seems to indicate an intent to cater for the lowest common denominator in the race for the tourist dollar. The already hideous Scenic World is to get some sort of sculpture park and the reptile park is to get a snake shaped slippery dip

You would think that the feasability study in question relates to a product significantly different to what is existing to be able to claim to be attempting to attract a new market, and that the application for the grant clearly showed that, and that the details of the application were checked before giving the grant.
I would want to be checking all of this if there was a possibility that they are using public money to get a slice of an existing market that I had a share of.
How does this all work with the restriction on numbers for the track in season anyway?

Hi geoskid. Iv'e avoided targeting the merits of any particular project so will leave the association and comments to others This sort of thing isn't new.
