a question for all those peak baggers out there:
Does anyone have an electronic copy of the the updated list? All the lists I can find on line have only 412 mountains, but i believe there's a recent update with 460 odd.
Cheers

Did 'they' discover or invent more hills or something? A list on a Hobart Club site has about the same number yo mentioned. It was from 2000.

Thanks Mr Camel, I found the list on the HWC site.
They've added some mountains and taken others off the list, plus downgraded a lot of the points ratings. I've lost at least 3, one of which I only climbed last week! On the other side, I've gained three as well, but probably have quite a few less points as most seem to have gone down rather than up.

Could one of you direct me to the page please? I had a look and couldn't see it, probably right there in front of my face.

Go to the HWC site (
http://www.hobartwalkingclub.org.au/) and then click on "Trip Planning Links" and you will find it.

I have an Excel spreadsheet (not sure how old it is, but it has 465 peaks and 881 possible points).
If anyone would like a copy, send me a PM and I can forward it to you.
