Help me to identify the animal

Tue 07 Jul, 2009 9:02 pm

Hi, all
I guess you it's probably very easy to find out what kind of footprint this is. But I'm not an Aussie and don't have a clue what it could be, so could you please help me?

It looks more human than anything else to me. Size?

Certainly not human I think it was about 10 cm long, but anyway it was on the central plateau and I didn't see any 4 year old walking barefooted. In fact I didn't see anyone.

How far apart were the prints - both width and length? Was it definitely a four-footed animal and, if so, what was the difference between the front and hind prints?
