Melbourne to Sydney

Mon 31 Oct, 2016 12:23 pm

Hi Everyone,

On the 27th of December 2016 I will be embarking on a 1000km + walk from my house in Melbourne's south east to the Sydney opera house. The journey will lapse a total of 10 hours and 50+km a day during the hottest part of the Australian summer, testing resilience, perseverance and bravery.

In partnership with the Ponting foundation I will be raising money for children and their families battling cancer. For those unaware the Ponting foundation provide essential services that comfort and nurture young Australians with cancer while providing emotional support and financial assistance for their family.

These brave children are my inspiration for this project and have influenced me to go far and beyond the normal scopes of charity fundraisers.

If anyone has any tips on the walk or how to get the word out please let me know :)
I know we can make a difference and can reach my goal of 20k for this wonderful cause.

I will be keeping all interested updated throughout my journey via social media.
