Finally got around to seeing 127 Hours movie last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great music and energy. Who'd of thought it would be so fascinating to watch a guy stuck in one spot. Actually, between the various efforts to escape, keep warm and hydrate as well as the insights into his thoughts, it was never dull.

I was expecting to see lots of product placement, but they only showed what you can see on the actual video of Aron on YouTube. I did wonder what brand of watch he was wearing.

There was a strong message in this movie about the importance of letting others know where you are going. I wonder if there has been a spike in sales of EPIRBs and SPOTs since the movie was released? (Frankly - I'd give my right arm for one. :) )

A must-see movie for outdoorsy types.
