These are fanatastic machines - don't recommend them in a thunderstorm.
Sorry about the spots - forgot to clean the slide!!

Yeah, I've had a couple of those Argo 8 wheel drives. Pain in the neck maintenance wise though. I never could get them to not overheat so I sold them. Man I spent a lot of time pulling them apart and putting them together again. Still got some parts somewhere too. Fun in the swamp though.

My ultimate bushwalking transport would be a Bell JetRanger. *sigh* Preferably with a hunky (male) pilot.

Phil we had 6 and 8 wheelers and they both had advantages.
We never had issues with overheating - this is Tasmania!! Conversely they did keep us warm at times.
Broke many a shear pin. Always thought they were a bit over sensitive in that area.
Otherwise they are heaps of fun and essential for carting gear over long distances in difficult terrain.
