Protect the places you love

Hi all,
I am just making people aware of the ‘Places you love’ campaign, if you haven’t come across it before. -> http://placesyoulove.org/
I think many here would be interested, since it concerns our environment in which we live and walk, and is relevant to a few recent discussions here on the forum regarding decisions made by State Governments.
The campaign is supported by many high-profile environmental groups and stems from recent discussions by the Council of Australian Governments (CoAG) to scale back environmental protection to cut the so-called ‘green tape’. Information on this can be found at the links provided below, including the original communiqué from CoAG. The campaign is trying to prevent further erosion of environmental protection. Anyhow, I won’t go into detail, just check it out if you like and make up your own mind
Cheers
Andrew
