I would highly recommend Khan Tengri over peak lenin.
just a tad shorter, but a much more satisfying climb.
PM me if you need further details.

Ashley Burke from the Sydney Uni Bushwalkers climbed Lenin Peak in 2009.
http://members.ozemail.com.au/~aburke/C ... enin01.htmHe does a pretty serious mountaineering trip every year or two, and has details of most on his website. I'd recommend contacting him if you have any questions.

Thanks guys.
Ashley Burke's Marble Wall-Khan Tengri traverse story leaves me cold.
A classic case of find out which company was involved and avoid them like the plague.
Still keen to do Lenin but will think more on it.
Doing Elbrus first, then moving on is where my head's at.
