I had planned to go with a few friends but forgot all about it.
Darn.
Any more planned?

There will not be any further showings of the current 43rd show in Launceston, but possibly will be on for a couple of nights in Hobart next year, and an outside possibility of one night at the Burnie TAFE. For those of you in Melbourne - WATCH THIS SPACE - there is a one night showing being planned for Friday 18th January at a church hall in Glen Waverley. I will post more details of this event as soon as they are available. This will be possible as I will be in Melbourne for a family reunion the weekend before and will not be returning to Tassie until Sunday 20th, so can take the digital projector, screen, show HDD, and laptop with me in my vehicle on the Spirit. Anyone in the Melbourne area who may be able to help with spreading the word about this presentation of "Do You Know Tasmania", please let me know, and I can forward a PDF poster for distribution.

Hi tasadam and others, it looks like there most likely will be a couple of "last" showings of our 43rd show before it is laid to rest - one at Mountain Designs Hobart store on a Friday evening, and one at the Burnie TAFE College auditorium on a Thursday night. Our website will post details on this page when finalised.

I know we'll find out when purchasing tickets, but do you have a time for this show?

Hello Stuart, ARGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Thanks for your proof reading of the poster - should have starting time 7.30pm. B*mmer -will have to reprint all the posters and fliers I was just about to mail to Mt Designs, should ALWAYS get someone else to proof read to make sure that what's in your head actually gets down on paper

Bummer, being a fellow Building Designer I know the frustration of missing something so small, yet so important. Maybe you could include a 'bushwalk-tasmania' logo on the new posters if they have to be re-done? See you at the presentation. Cheers. Stuart.

Nice work! That's very much appreciated.

I have replaced the poster file above with a well compresed A4 JPEG file (680k) that will make a reasonable colour print if any of the 30+ Hobart area BT members wish to put up a poster in their work place or local area. Just click on the image above to open the full size file, then right click to save a copy to your desktop. Feel free to email a link to this thread to any outdoor enthusiasts - we might pick up extra BT members as well as get a full house on the night

I am just emailing the small walking group I am in about it. Can I assume that door sales will be available on the evening?

Yes Peter, there will certainly be tickets on sale at the door, unless we sell the maximum number of tickets of 100 beforehand.

Any Hobart area BWT members who were planning to attend the show this Friday night might be advised to pick up tickets from Mountain Designs ASAP as there are now only 40 tickets left

, and if all sold there will be none available at the door on the night. Any BWT forum members attending, please introduce yourselves to me (and each other) on the night and we can put faces to names

Nik, if I can get some BWT stickers, T-shirts etc from you tonight, I could flog a few items on the night for you as an official sponsor

Just as well I bought some yesterday. Originally I was expecting to be bushwalking until Friday, but this weather changed my mind.
Cheers

I wouldn't mind seeing it again, well worth the ticket price but I will curled up in my tent somewhere around Lake Myrtle on Friday night.

Hi.
(I work @ MD's)
We still have about 30 tickets left although I assume a fair few will be sold tomorrow (friday) so door sales are looking very limited if any at all.
I'd advise not leaving it to chance and popping in during the day!
Look forward to seeing those who make it tomorrow night.

Got home this morning about 2am, very happy with the support for DYKT in Hobart. It was great to put faces to names of several BWT members - flyfisher, stubowling, and NickD

- if there were others of you there, sorry not to have caught up with you this time

, but it was quite a crowd and we didn't have a lot of time to chat at interval and after the show. Gave the BWT forum a plug on the programs so will be good to perhaps see new members in our discussions. Not long to 400 members

.
Will be working on a date for the show at Burnie TAFE in Spetember, so NW members, may catch up with some of you then.

It was a top effort Tas Man and many of the areas shown were not that well known or not that frequently visited so it was good to get the opportunity to see them. Thanks to all concerned.

Also nice to meet you and put a face to the name.
