I thought I would start a thread on your dream hikes.

If you had no time or money constraints what would be:

The 1 Trail in Australia that you would Hike?
and
The 1 Track from anywhere in the world you would Hike?

I would hike the South Coast Track in Tasmania and the Everest Base Camp Trek. They both look like a fun but challenging adventure

If time and money were not constraints, I would spend a year or two doing the Big Lap around Australia doing every bushwalk, climb and kayak I could find along the way. Then I'd head overseas and travel each continent... and then... oh that's right, it's only a dream

Not sure about my dream walk in Australia, but it would probably be exploring Tasmania. As for international it would be the Pacific Crest Trail.

Internationally there are so many I would like to do, but since forced to pick only one it would the Parque Nacional Torres del Paine circuit in Patagonia.

Locally - yeah probably the South Coast Track for me too.

As discussed not too long ago, my present dream is the Mt Kalash Circuit.

The Torres del Paine circuit looks amazing, will have to add it to the long list of future hikes

And of course whilst in Patagonia it would worthwhile to visit the Perito Moreno glacier and also Monte Fitzroy - the silhouette of which forms the Mountain Designs logo.

Walking freely across every inch possible of Arnhemland NT. Id just like to see and feel it all.

After returning to the enjoyment of bushwalking after a 30 year hiatus, the Larapinta Trail in 2016 (restored fitness permitting) is a definite dream.

Probably Carnarvon Gorge in Queensland and the Yukon loop in Alaska

I like to walk the south west Cape (Tassie) in good weather and take a week - 10 days to do it.
Overseas would have to be South Is NZ or Patagonia for a few months.

Larapinta is probably my Aussie number 1.

As for overseas, I've always wanted to see the Northern Lights but had never looked into it that much. Then I read this article the other day. It's taken number 1 position for international hikes.

A bit boring but id like to walk along the dingo fence. Not all of it cause is 5600km long. Id need to lose a few kgs.
Over seas probably Scotland and its castles. Eye !!!

Venice to Rome to Santiago to Paris..... After that ,If I was lucky enough to still be on this earth...Paris to Oslo.....and on .......and on.......I know ,dream on Vicrev

Australia......Koolpin to Twinfalls or Jim Jim falls. Kakadu, Northern Territory.
In the Dry first, then again in the Wet. Anywhere from a week to 3week duration, depends on goal & route taken.

Overseas....Mt Kinabalu. Sabah, Malaysia.
Past by on my way to the Hot springs & the Orangutan sanctuary years ago and regret not
taking the time to climb it.
