If I can get Xmas - new year off I'd like to do about a 5 day circuit walk in southern NSW or Victoria.
I'll probably be solo so it must be a loop and nothing too challenging as I'm a bit out of shape.
I've done the Hotham - Feathertop - Blair's Hut - Toowonga Huts - Dibbins Hut - Hotham a couple of times before and the Viking circuit so want to try something different.
I've just moved to Tumut so I don't know KNP that well yet so any ideas there?
If I can convince a friend to come we may do Mallacoota to Nadgee, but I need to have a plan B solo trip.

How about a circuit Falls Creek-Fainters-Cleve Cole-Mt Bogong-Falls Creek?

Hey Macca
Yeah that region is still a pretty familiar area for me, I'm looking for somewhere different and a bit unknown.
I think I'm going to tackle Round Mountain / Mt Jagungal / Valentines Falls circuit.
Anyone know it?

Malacoota to Nadgee is very hard to beat and it is a gentle relaxing walk over 5 days, only real hill is the one out of Newtons beach but it is only a 300m climb over a few km's. Plenty of water, abundant flowers and wildlife at the moment with good rain and the fishing and prawning are excellent at this time of year also. I will be working in Malacoota every Saturday over the summer, it's going to be hard not to want to head of walking
