Today is World Wetlands Day. You can read more at the Ramsar Site and the Department of Environment Site. You can read more about Tassie wetlands at the Parks and Wildlife Site.

Whatever happened to the good old swamp. Nowdays everything is a wetland. The cartoon wouldnt be as funny if it was called wetlands you know
