Got a Swiss Volcano Stove, cut a few slots for some alloy strips to slide thru, made the opening in the bottom larger, now I can slide a
pepsi stove in the bottom or an esbit tab a bit further up. Compared to my "control

boiltimes for 500ml of water, as well as being a lot easier to run a woodfire in the bottom. If it wasnt so unstable it might be useful

Then i grabbed a IKEA cutlery drainer [ Ordning it's called ] stainless steel, and tried to make a wood gasifier stove. Let's just say that's a
work in progress....
Then I dragged an old Darche Hybrid tent and tried to improve on that.I actually usually use a tarp and bugbivy, so I've been meaning to have
a go at this little tent to improve the basic flaws, too heavy and doesn't breathe. So I started by slicing off the outer waterproof door flap, then
changed out the heavy steel tentpoles for some alloy ones, at the same time extending the poles up about 200mm, the idea is to then have a
lightweight tarp to create a cover over the now removed door and create a small patio/vestibule at the same time. Got rid of the steel pegs
And used dacron fishing line for guy lines. It's not turning out too bad, a well ventilated single space tent, with a little roof over the top. I'll
Keep fiddling with this.
And then I jumped online, sent and email off to Trail Designs regards a Caldera Cone set in titanium. At 1 in the morning!!!! US time I got an answer, we emailed
back and forth and now I just have to wait for it to roll up. I'm excited.*&%$#! awesome service.
