Another thing I've kept hold of for far too long.

Purchased around 2005 this bivy has been used approx 5 nights in total. Unfortunately BD released these as an ultralight bivy but got the weatherproofing wrong. They are great above the snowline in dry snow conditions, unfortunately they won't deal with any sustained rain. Perfect for summer use as a bug bivy, high alpine use or in conjunction with a tarp but not to be used as a 100% waterproof bivy for all weather.

Is it leaky via the seams or the material?

Leaky through the material. They were sold as being a high alpine super breathable bivy. I would use as a weatherproof sleeping bag and mossie cover under a tarp.
