Ultralight Bushwalking/backpacking is about more than just gear lists. Ultralight walkers carefully consider gear based on the environment they are entering, the weather forecast, their own skill, other people in the group. Gear and systems are tested and tweaked.If you are new to this area then welcome - Please remember that although the same ultralight philosophy can be used in all environments that the specific gear and skill required will vary greatly. It is very dangerous to assume that you can just copy someone else's gear list, but you are encouraged to ask questions, learn and start reducing the pack weight and enjoying the freedom that comes.

Batchstovez Dry-Baking Pots Video demo and Mini Heat Stove

Batchstovez Dry Baking kit custom made out of aluminium. Which are than anodized. The pots combined are 154grams including lid. Stove used a Mini Heat ST stove by Smokeeater908 for the states.
The mini heat stove is not so easy to control for dry baking. I have a new stove arriving soon from Minibulldesigns, I'm looking forward to.
Todays bake test is a Moist Date Loaf.

Using the carbonfibre felt is a great idea, as it's multifunctional. Not only is it a windshield, and here you also use it as a pot holder to stop your fingers burning. I guess it can be used as an insulating cozy too (with some round pieces cut out for base and lid), to decrease direct heating time and therefore make fuel usage more efficient when reheating dehydrate foods.

I purchased my Carbon Felt Windscreen from Batchstovez, the same time I purchased the Dry Baking Kit, It caught my eye and thought I'll try those, it's cheap enough and was keen to see how effective as a windscreen it would make. I'm very happy with it, as you say it's multifunctional. Just have to be careful the wind don't blow it away, as it's very light in weight.
